Adult Bible Study: Broken Lands
Thursdays, 1-2:15 p.m. at United
Our Savior’s, our sister church, is looking towards creating a welcome statement that names our ongoing commitment to be a community that welcomes and honors all people, including people who are LGBTQIA2S+ and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. Part of that welcome is engaging in openness, humility, learning, and relationship.
This fall, we invite folks from both Our Savior’s and United, as well as all our neighbors, to learn more about our Indigenous Neighbors, including the history and present. We will be using a resource created by the NEMN Synod, a booklet and podcast “Broken Lands.” Those unable to come to the study in person are invited to listen to the podcast episodes from season one.
